Senior Project Manager
Responsible for managing the construction of a threestory, 45,000sf medical office building with first floor retail space. The building will be a steel and concrete structure clad with masonry and glass, slated for LEED certification. Construction began in February 2009 and will continue for approximately 12 months. The budget is set at approximately $9.2 million.
Hollywood Park Condominiums
Portland, Oregon
Senior Project Manager
Hired on as GC to complete construction of a five story, nine unit urban infill condominium development that was started by another GC. Project was taken over by B&G at the end of framing and had to undergo extensive reworking, re-inspecting and re-engineering due to negligence of previous GC. Worked diligently with Owner, Designers and City of Portland to get the structure within compliance of the documents and codes. Completed September, 2008.
Cascade Engineering

Responsible for scheduling, budget, personnel, and subcontractor efficiency throughout the tenant improvement of Cascade Engineering’s 4,500sf office space. This TI was completed on time and under budget while core & shell work was on-going, which required significant coordination with the Developer’s GC.
Yellow Building

Participated in over one-year of cost-estimating and design input followed by 8-months of Project Management for Broadway Cab’s new 8800sf, two-story corporate offices and 43 car parking lot situated on over 40,000sf of land. Project included an on-site storm water infiltration system, a low-maintenance and cost-effective envelope, efficient MEP systems, above code insulation, maximum daylight, solar ready infrastructure and an extremely flexible space. Completed on schedule and more than $100,000 under budget.
Landmark Phase I, II & III

Design-Build, open-ended Time & Materials contract for a multi-phase project consisting of a full seismic upgrade and commercial renovation of an existing 3000 sf pole barn (Phase I); complete deconstruction of two existing residential structures replaced by a 6000 sf, two-story mixed-use office building (Phase II); selective renovation of an existing, 9000 sf mixed-use office building (Phase III); and infrastructure for the entire complex. Project was completed in October of 2007 for a very satisfied client.
Richmond Building Renovation

Responsible for all phases scheduling, coordination and on-site management for the second half of this 7-month long project. This renovation encompassed a complete seismic upgrade and interior renovation of a 100 year-old, three-story, mixed-use, un-reinforced masonry building. Construction tasks include seismic braces and supports in basement, inserting new post-and-beam structure within occupied commercial spaces, complete gut and renovation of five existing apartments, new MEP systems throughout, new energy star roof combined with existing parapet wall structural support system.

Negotiated, bid, and managed all aspects of construction for the renovation of an existing, historic farmhouse owned by a local Non-profit situated on agriculture & wetland property owned by the City of Portland. Project highlights include full photovoltaic system, rainwater harvesting for potable water, super insulation, rainscreen system, FSC-Certified framing lumber, high material salvage and reuse, as well as passive solar and cooling systems.
Crystal Springs Rhododendron Garden

Negotiated, bid, and managed all aspects of construction for the addition of a sixty foot long concrete bridge over and existing stream, a four-hundred square foot, dry-stack stone retaining wall, new gravel walk ways and stone terracing, landscape and irrigation. Project highlights include all construction being completed in an environmentally sensitive wetland area, use of all natural products, over 200 tons of materials being transported to the middle of the park with no damage or injuries to surrounding ecosystem and all work being completed while the City of Portland park remained open to the public.

Participated in competitive interview process, 4 months of pre-construction services and public bidding process involving Davis-Bacon wages, MWSBE participation and certified payroll. Directly managed or participated in all aspects of complete deconstruction and demolition of an existing 3 story brick building, removal of 8 contaminated underground storage tanks and construction of a new mixed-use, 6-story, classroom / 130 unit student housing facility. Lead Superintendent / Junior Project Manager with Walsh Construction
Led a team of other superintendents and subcontractors through the complete deconstruction and salvage of a 2-story, quarter block annex to the original structure and performed a complete restoration, third floor addition (using primarily salvaged structural materials) and seismic upgrade to a century old building while achieving a LEED–gold rating by the USGBC, as well as following all criteria for an historic preservation.
